2024-25 Welcome Letter

On behalf of the RMS PTSA Executive Board, we welcome students, teachers, staff, parents, and caregivers to RMS for the 2024-2025 school year.  We hope the summer allowed you time to relax, recharge, and reset.
​The PTSA partners with RMS and Beacon staff to 1) create a welcoming environment, 2) build a representative community, 3) collaborate with and support teachers and staff, and 4) enrich the academic and social experience of our community. 


The PTSA will host its first meeting on Monday September 16th at 6:00pm in the second-floor library, and successive meetings will be held on the second Monday of each month. We serve food for those who RSVP to the in-person meetings and broadcast the meeting over Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Meetings are open to the entire RMS community and everyone is encouraged to attend. Details are communicated via our calendar, our website, Facebook, and through our regular newsletter, which you can sign up for here. 


When parents and caregivers are involved in their student’s educational experience, students are happier and more successful. Membership in the RMS PTSA is not mandatory but encouraged. We believe cost should not be a barrier to membership so RMS PTSA offers financial aid for those interested. To inquire, please email us.
