So happy you’re joining the Coyote Community. Here are a few ways to keep in touch with the school community and find information, both during the school year and over the summer:

RMS PTSA Website
You've found the RMS PTSA website... This is a great resource! You can find the PTSA google calendar, which includes school events and important district dates. You can also access an archive of the PTSA newsletter (both under the ‘news’ tab).

RMS PTSA Facebook group
For those interested in connecting with other RMS families in between school events and official PTSA meetings, there is the official RMS PTSA Facebook group. This is a great place to post questions to the community and learn about upcoming events.

PTSA Google Calendar
Wouldn't it be awesome if key dates and school events automatically showed up in your calendar? Make it happen by subscribing to the RMS PTSA Google Calendar. Find it on this website under the 'news' tab.

PTSA Newsletter (available during the school year)
The PTSA sends out regular communications through our weekly email newsletter. Subscribing to the newsletter this August is the easiest way to stay up-to-date with what's going on at school. You don't have to be a PTSA member to subscribe (but we'd love it if you were).

RMS WhatsApp Groups

• RMS Community - This is a WhatsApp group for communications for all grades at RMS. Please keep comments productive and for general discussion (e.g. no student or teacher-specific issues). 
• RMS Class of 2029 – This is a WhatsApp group for families of students who will be in the 6th grade in the 2026-27 school year. It’s a place to share information and ask questions about school and non-school-related items. And maybe make some friends. 

Information about joining these groups and sign up links will be shared this coming August by Principal Leicham.

The rules of the RMS WhatsApp groups are to be kind and assume good intentions. No hate or discrimination of any kind. Please use your full name in the groups (vs screen names or phone numbers only) so that others know who they’re communicating with. You can use the Tag feature to do this.

The WhatsApp groups and the info posted in them are not affiliated with nor endorsed by the RMS PTSA or RMS Administration. The groups don’t have a moderator.
