New to RMS?

If you're joining RMS as a new student/family this year, welcome! Here are a few quick tips to help you prepare for the first day of school.

• The first day of school is Monday, August 19. Students may arrive starting at 9 a.m., and the bell rings at 9:30a.m.
• Student schedules are still being worked on, but if available prior to the first day, you will receive an email from Principal Emily Leicham via Parentvue. 
• Ms. Leicham typically has a welcome program for parents on the first day in the RMS auditorium. Please plan to attend if you're available! This program usually runs from 9:30-10a.m.
• The PTSA meets monthly, and our first meeting of the school year will be Monday, Sept. 9. You'll hear more about the PTSA at the above-mentioned welcome program, but you're also welcome to email us for more information, or join us today. 
  
• To stay in touch with PTSA news and info, join us on Facebook or sign up for emails via our web site home page.
• Ahead of the first day, please join our Back to School BBQ on Friday, August 16 from 3-5 p.m.! Join us on the Palm Avenue side of the school for food and fun.
