The RMS PTSA Annual Fund Drive starts on October 15th and runs for 6 weeks. We have an aggressive goal this year as the PTSA is paying for real teaching positions. Without the PTSA funds our school would be understaffed and your kids' education and school experience heavily impacted.
A donation of $300 per student will help us reach this year's funding goal. We know that not everyone can donate that much. We believe we can still reach our goal if we get 100% parent participation so please please donate as much or as little as you possibly can.

This is a great opportunity to hang out with other parents, caregivers, and RMS staff. This is your chance to grab those amazing Sign Me Ups that are hosted by parents, teachers and even our awesome Principal Mr. Stachon! There will be music, nibbles, beer, wine, and lots of fun! One of our fabulous parents, Tara Uziel, has opened her home to us at 2243 Fulton Street for this event. Please RSVP, so we can make sure we have the right amount of food and drink. See you there!
Welcome back for the 2018-2019 School Year!
RMS will be holding our annual Arena Day on Friday, August 17th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the cafeteria and lower gym to help students prepare for the first day of school. Students and families can turn in paperwork, receive their class schedules, sign up for the PTSA, register for the BEACON after school program, and buy a yearbook as well as Trojan gear.
School starts on Monday, August 20th, and the RMS PTSA is excited to welcome new and returning families to the 2018-2019 school year at Roosevelt Middle School!

THANK YOU, TROJANS for getting us closer to our goal of raising $100,000 for our Annual Fund! At our deadline the evening of February 25th, we hit $71,049 with 214 individual donations! With matching employer funds beginning to come in, we will hit even closer to our admittedly ambitious goal!
Classroom Competition Results:
We had a tie and therefore are awarding 4 rooms! Ms. Buntichai, Ms. Kuo, Mr. Vuong, and Ms. Sevilla’s classes will enjoy an ice cream treat in the upcoming weeks.
The donation door is never closed. Please know that you are always able to donate. In addition, you can use our Amazon link, as well as give Roosevelt’s name at Sports Basement to passively raise funds.

We are at 13% participation and $42,844 raised. Our goal is 100% participation and $100,000 raised. ALL levels of giving are encouraged and welcomed. This is the spirit, what it’s all about, a helping hand, pitching in.
