Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7

​Every day is a great day to thank a teacher. Now we have a whole week!

This week (May 3rd to 7th) is National Teacher Appreciation Week.   Please take a moment to send your students’ teachers and staff a note of appreciation.  This has been a long year for all of us and the teachers and staff at RMS have consistently gotten up each school day and done their best to teach our children under challenging and ever-changing circumstances.  As we head into the final weeks of the year, let’s offer a few cheers and notes of appreciation to those who have shown why RMS truly is a California Distinguished School.
 
Please know that the RMS PTSA Teacher Appreciation Committee has been busy all year with a variety of themed Appreciations being delivered directly to the teachers and staff.  Our final Appreciation will be delivered the last week of May, to help everyone acknowledge and celebrate the end of the year.  Some of the earlier Appreciations include:

• A COVID Survival Bag delivered at the start of the year, complete with RMS mask, tea, recommended stretches, and hand sanitizer.
• Local baked pound cake (from Jane the Baker) and ground coffee (from Andytown Coffee Roasters).
• Movie Night Goodie Bag with popcorn, candy, and movie recommendations.
