​Ways to give to Roosevelt's 2021-2022 Annual Fund:
​
  • PayPal or credit card by clicking "Donate" below to make a one-time or monthly recurring donation. (Add your child's name and grade in the notes.)
  • Send a check payable to  Roosevelt Middle School - PTSA. Mailing address: RMS PTSA, 460 Arguello Blvd., San Francisco, CA 94118.​ (Add your child's name and grade in the memo.) You can also drop your check off in the white PTSA drop box outside the school office. 

Tips for More Effective Donating
  • ​Corporate Matching - Double your gift with your company's matching program. Not sure if one is available?  See this list.  If your company isn't included, ask your HR Department.
  • Grandparents with IRA’s - If there are grandparents who wish to support the cause, let them know that account holders aged 70½ or older who make a donation directly from a traditional IRA to a qualified charity (educational organizations are considered charities) can donate up to $100,000 WITHOUT it being considered a taxable distribution. That means they are using pre-tax money to donate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who should give to the annual fund?
All current parents and guardians are welcome to give a gift to our school (our goal is at least 75% participation and ideally 100%). We also welcome donations from grandparents, alumni and alumni parents. 
Q: How much should I give? 
Gifts of any amount are appreciated and vital to pay for the middle school programs and resources we want for our kids. In the 2020-2021 school year, we received donations ranging from $25 to $8,000. Only you can determine the amount that is right for your family. 
Q: What is the timeline for the annual fund?
It kicks off October 4 and ends December 7. You can make a one-time donation or pledge an amount then set PayPal or your credit card to send monthly payments.
