Sleuths Wanted: Ghostly RMS Mystery Needs Solving
Details:Â
Up to eight lucky students will join Ms. Cloues (RMS teacher-librarian) and Hazen Sewell (long-time RMS parent) in our own Roosevelt Library for a special mystery/puzzle-solving activity on Saturday, February 3, from 10am-12pm. Parents/guardians will preferably drop their students off for the event and meet them back at the school by noon.
Â
This hands-on, team-driven activity centers around a story involving a ghost, a decades-old library mystery, school artifacts from the past, and several escape room-style coded puzzles that will eventually lead the solvers to a conclusion...somewhere in the school...with snacks to follow at the end!Â
Â
Students will work together in the library and around the school to solve the puzzles and resolve a fun library mystery. Ms. Cloues and Hazen will give hints as needed, and help guide the team along through the story and the school.
Date and time:Â Saturday, February 3, 10am-12pm
Location: RMS Library
Number of participants:Â 8
Cost:Â $25 per person
Instructions:Â After checkout, please sign up on this spreadsheet (Solve a Mystery tab).
Sign-Me-Ups (SMUs) are activities and gatherings hosted by Roosevelt families, staff and teachers. In addition to raising valuable funds for our school, SMUs also strengthen our community by providing opportunities for kids and teachers to spend time together outside of class, and for parents to mix and mingle with RMS staff and each other while enjoying fun new experiences together! Interested in hosting one? Email the PTSA Board at [email protected].
