Teacher Appreciation Committee
The Roosevelt PTSA has a well established system in place to ensure the efforts of teachers & staff are recognized regularly via "Appreciation Events" organized by the Teacher Appreciation Committee. These events occur once a month on average, are typically a breakfast or lunch spread organized by parent/caregiver volunteers, and are funded by the PTSA. Food can be purchased from local restaurants or homemade.
The Teacher Appreciation Committee can consist of several people (committee members) and typically has a single Chairperson, who speaks for the group to manage delegation and event planning. This is a wonderful opportunity to care for the teachers and staff that care for our kids every day!
The Teacher Appreciation Committee is active all school year, and includes Teachers Appreciation Week in May - a full week of spoiling them! Sounds great, right?! If this sounds like something you'd love to be a part of, please fill out this volunteer form to get started.
