Happy New Year Roosevelt Parent(s)!
Since the inception of the RMS PTSA in 2012, fundraising has grown year over year and this year should be no different. This year, our RMS Annual Fund goal is $100,000. The trees are bearing fruit! Let’s continue investing in our children’s future! Please make RMS one of your highest philanthropic priorities for 2018. We raise critical funding to support an amazingly diverse and spectacular assortment of activities. We do this in order to maintain current programs and introduce new ones, thus enriching our students’ lives and arming them with the skills to succeed in high school. As a public school, we cannot do it alone and rely on giving to make up our budget shortfall. Fundraising is critical for a school like Roosevelt for a couple reasons:
Please give as generously as possible so we can close the $120,000 gap due to the loss of Title I funding. Our deadline for the RMS Annual Fund is February 15, 2018. The PTSA Annual Fund also helps bring key programs and support to RMS including:
The entire RMS community benefits from Trojan fundraising efforts with the PTSA also supporting:
WAYS TO GIVE Many employers offer matching funds for school donations. Matching donations are a wonderful way to help us reach our goals. If you have any questions regarding matching funds, please contact me directly at [email protected] Payments can be made by check, cash or credit card. Mail in your cash or check payable to ROOSEVELT PTSA or you can always drop off payments in the white PTSA drop box outside the school office. You could even hand your donation to a parent at morning drop-off or afternoon pick up. Credit card payments can be made here. If you would like to divide your payments and give monthly or pledge now and give sometime between now and May 18, 2018, that is fine as well. We realize that the City is an expensive place to raise children; all the more reason to give at a level that is appropriate for your family. It is our goal to have as much participation from parents as possible, so please consider sending in your donation today. Thank you for making Roosevelt better for our children. Sincerely, Catherine Davlin V.P. of Fundraising Roosevelt PTSA Comments are closed.
