RMS Community, we are almost 70% of the way toward our fundraising goal. Can you help us hit 100%?
As we get ready for Winter Break, we’re sharing an update on the Annual Fund Drive.
We would love to say we achieved 100% participation from all families this year. As we've mentioned before, no donation is too small and every little bit helps us get to our annual goal. If you haven't had a chance to donate, now is the time as we are hoping to reach $110,000 before the end of 2023. Please go HERE to donate. Or, if you prefer to donate a check or cash, stop by the RMS Office or mail to Roosevelt Middle School PTSA, 460 Arguello Blvd., San Francisco, CA 94118 RMS students, staff, and families thank you! It's that time of year...the Annual Fund Drive! Similar to years past, the RMS PTSA is asking the community to give what it can in support of this wonderful school, the staff, and our students.
Our goal is to raise $110,000 before the end of December. This is our only fundraiser of the year, and how we generate 90% of funds that support programs and services our students, teachers, and staff rely on. This includes:
Every donation counts, and we appreciate your support as we work to meet our goal. For more information, including how to donate, please visit the Annual Fund Drive page. For the month of October, local restaurant Lazy Susan will donate 10% of net sales from the Roosevelt community back to our school! Help a small business while also helping RMS and enjoying delicious Chinese food. Here's what to do:
About Lazy Susan: Lazy Susan's co-founder Tiffany grew up in her family's Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh. Together with Hanson, the other co-founder, they brought Lazy Susan to life during the pandemic as a pop-up. With its success, they established a store-front in West Portal serving families throughout San Francisco. Hanson's kids went to CIS and RMS, and are both in Lowell now. He designed this give-back program to raise money for local schools. We're looking for parents and staff to host Sign-Me-Ups this school year. SMUs raise money for the PTSA and build community. You can host a hike, a dinner, a guitar lesson, or really anything you can dream up. The event can be family-friendly, adults-only, or kids-only. If you want to host one, but don't have an idea or a partner, please let us know and we can connect you. Interested? Email Emily Fancher.
