Covid Protocols @ RMS

Families, please remember to complete the Daily Health Screening prior to sending your child to school every morning. All students, despite vaccination status, must complete the Daily Health Screening. You can find the Daily Health Screening on the SFUSD website.

During the Daily Health Screening, please ask your student(s) if they have any of the following symptoms that are new or different from usual: 

• Fever (100.4°F/38°C or higher) or chills
• Cough
• Headache
• Sore throat
• Loss of taste or smell that started in the last 10 days (Children may say that food “tastes bad” or “tastes funny”)
• Feeling out of breath or having a hard time breathing
• Nasal congestion or runny nose
• Diarrhea, nausea or vomiting
• Fatigue
• Muscle aches or body aches

If your student(s) report any of the symptoms listed above,

1. Do not send them to school (even if they are vaccinated)
2. Notify the school by calling or filling out the Absences Form  or Parent’s Verification of Student’s Absence Form (make a copy)
3. Contact your child’s doctor
4. Keep your child home from school until you get their test results

If your student has tested positive for COVID-19 please notify the school immediately.
